Serving Johnstown, Alexandria & Granville, OH
We take care of the one part of dog ownership nobody looks forward to. Reliable, recurring pet waste removal — so you can actually use your outdoor space again.
We show up on schedule, communicate clearly, and handle the work without disrupting your day.
We clean our tools and boots with a kennel-grade disinfectant after every visit, so we're not tracking germs or illness from one yard into the next.
We snap a photo of your closed gate after each visit and send it your way — peace of mind that your dogs are safe before you even get home.
Every technician is trained, background-checked, and we carry full liability insurance. You're not hiring a neighbor kid — you're hiring a service.
We access your yard through your gate, do the work, and text you a photo of the closed gate when we're done — so you know your dogs are safe. No scheduling calls, no waiting around.
You'll get a consistent technician who learns your yard and your dogs. No rotating strangers — just a familiar face on a familiar schedule.
Start, pause, or cancel anytime. Our service earns your business week after week — we don't lock you in to keep you around.
Vacations happen. Just let us know and we'll hold your spot. No penalties, no fees. We'll be here when you're back.

Scoop Ease started because we saw what "good enough" looked like in this industry — unreliable visits, impersonal service, and no communication — and knew homeowners deserved better.
We're a local, owner-operated service that takes pride in showing up when we say we will and leaving your yard genuinely clean.
Scoop Ease isn't a national franchise operation dispatching technicians from across town. We're local — which means we know the neighborhoods, the schedules, and the community.
When something comes up, you're reaching a local team, not a call center. And when we say we know your area, we mean it.

I started Scoop Ease to spend more time with my family and to show my three kids what it looks like to build something of your own — I'm not a fan of disappearing behind a desk all day, and I'd rather be out meeting the neighbors whose yards I'm taking care of.
I've had dogs my whole life. Right now it's Wesley, a four-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix with a white, heart-shaped patch on his chest — that's actually where the Scoop Ease logo came from, and it was my daughter's idea. When I show up at your gate, I'm not a rotating crew or a call center; it's me, treating your yard and your dog the way I'd want mine treated.
No complicated setup. No long-term commitments. Just tell us about your yard and we handle everything else.
Tell us your address, how many dogs you have, and how often you'd like service. That's it. We'll follow up with a quote and an available start date — typically within one business day.
Once you're set up, you'll receive a confirmed service day. We stick to it. You don't need to be home — just leave the gate accessible and we'll take care of the rest.
Have a dog who doesn't do well with strangers in the yard? Let us know and we'll work out a routine that keeps everyone comfortable.
Our technician arrives within your service window, performs a thorough sweep of your entire yard, bags all waste, and removes it from the property. No piles left. No trace left behind.
Sanitizing spray is applied to tools between properties — we don't cross-contaminate yards.
After every visit, you'll get a quick text letting you know service is complete — along with a photo of your closed gate, so you know your dogs are safe before you even get home. No guessing whether we came. No checking the yard. You'll know.
If we ever encounter an issue — a locked gate, an aggressive dog in the yard, anything unexpected — we'll reach out before skipping a visit, not after.
These aren't aspirations. They're what every customer gets, every time.
We cover your entire property, not just the obvious spots. That includes fence lines, garden borders, and under play equipment.
Every visit, waste is bagged and placed in your own trash bin. If your bin isn't kept outside, we'll use a spot you and Scoop Ease agree on ahead of time.
Equipment is disinfected before we enter any new property. Your yard doesn't carry what the last one had.
Your dogs won't find an open gate. We double-check on the way out, every time, and text you a photo of the closed gate so you don't have to take our word for it.
If something prevents a visit — weather, a locked gate, anything — you'll hear from us before the window closes.
We don't ghost. If we can't make your scheduled day, we'll reschedule for the same week.
Your quote is based on yard size, number of dogs, and service frequency. Get yours in under two minutes.

Why "starting at"? The prices above cover up to 2 dogs and yards up to 1/8 acre. Larger yards are priced individually based on size and layout — just ask when you request your quote. Your final quote can vary based on yard size, dog count, and service frequency — but you'll never get a number wildly different from what's posted here. We give fast, personalized quotes with no obligation.
That's it. We keep pricing simple so there are no surprises on your first invoice.
Listed prices cover yards up to 1/8 acre. Larger properties take more time to cover thoroughly, so we price those individually — and fairly.
More dogs means more work. We account for this in every quote so your technician has the right amount of time.
Weekly service costs less per visit than bi-weekly. The more often we come, the more manageable each visit is.
No sales calls. No pressure. Just a clear number and a start date.

We do a thorough sweep of your entire yard — not just the obvious areas. All waste is bagged and placed in your own trash bin. If your bin isn't stored outside, we'll use a drop-off spot you and Scoop Ease agree on. We also sanitize our tools before entering any new yard. After each visit, you get a text confirmation with a photo of your closed gate, so you know service is complete and your dogs are safe.
We take it with us. All waste is removed from your property and disposed of responsibly. We don't leave bags at the edge of your yard or by your trash. Clean means it's gone.
No. Most customers are away during their service visit. Just make sure your gate is accessible and unlocked on service day. We'll take care of everything and send you a text when we're done. If your gate is locked when we arrive, we'll contact you right away — we won't just skip the visit.
The full yard. We cover fence lines, shaded corners, under decks (where accessible), and near garden beds — not just the open grass. If there's an area you want us to be especially thorough about, just mention it when you sign up.
Yes. Tools are disinfected before we enter any new property. This protects your yard from anything the previous yard might have had — and keeps our service clean and professional.
We double-check your gate is closed and latched before we leave, every single visit — and we text you a photo of it as proof, so you're not just taking our word for it. For yards without a gate (invisible fence, open yard, etc.), we'll text a photo confirming the yard is secure instead. We know your dogs are family. Keeping them safe isn't an afterthought, it's built into how we close out every visit.
Just let us know ahead of time and we'll hold your spot. No penalties, no fees. When you're ready to resume, we'll be back on your regular schedule.
Light rain doesn't stop us. If conditions are severe enough to affect service quality or safety, we'll contact you and reschedule for the same week whenever possible. We don't quietly skip and wait until your next scheduled day.
We'll do our best to accommodate preferences. Service day is typically assigned based on your location and route efficiency, but if you have a day that works better — or a window to avoid — let us know when you request your quote.
That's the goal. We assign technicians to areas and routes, so you'll typically see the same person week after week. This also means your technician learns your yard and your dogs over time.
Weekly service starts at $65/month, bi-weekly starts at $45/month — both covering up to 2 dogs and yards up to 1/8 acre, with a $5 fee per visit for each additional dog beyond that. Larger yards are quoted individually. One-time cleanups typically run $75–150 depending on yard size and waste accumulation. Your exact quote can shift a bit based on yard size and dog count, but it won't be far from these numbers. See the Pricing page for the full breakdown, or request a quote for an exact number.
No. We don't require long-term contracts. You can start, pause, or cancel anytime. We think the service should speak for itself — and if it doesn't, you should be free to stop.
We bill on a recurring basis — typically monthly. You'll receive an invoice before payment is processed and we accept all major credit cards. We'll go over the billing specifics when we set up your service.
For the safety of your dog and our technician, yes — we ask that dogs be inside or secured during the service visit. Most dogs are fine once they get used to the routine, but keeping them in during visits is our standard practice.
Let us know upfront and we'll factor that into how we approach your property. We're experienced with all kinds of dogs and situations — our job is to keep the service smooth for everyone, including your animals.
Absolutely. Multi-dog households and large breeds are common customers. Your quote will account for the additional volume involved — there are no surprise add-ons after you sign up.
Typically within one week of accepting a quote. Exact timing depends on your area and our current schedule, but we'll give you a confirmed start date when we follow up on your quote request.
New customers who sign up for weekly recurring service get their first visit at no charge. This includes full yard coverage and waste removal, same as any regular visit. No hidden terms — it's a real first visit, on us.
Your name, address, number of dogs, and preferred service frequency. That's enough to generate an accurate quote. We'll follow up by phone or email — whichever you prefer — to confirm details and answer any questions before you commit to anything.
